The 3rd Annual Texas
Outdoor Expo will be held May 5th & 6th at the Copperas Branch
Park on Lake Lewisville in Highland Village. The hours are
8am-8pm Saturday and 11am-6pm Sunday.
Friday, there is a
Charity Golf Tournament at the Tribute in The Colony and Saturday
morning, a Bass Fishing Tournament at the Park. Both of these
benefit Joni & Friends, a ministry for the disabled.
The 2007 Expo is completely
FREE to attend. Participants can experience Rock Climbing, SCUBA,
Archery, Kayaking,
Canoeing, Fishing, and much more. There will be vendors selling products as well as
a food court. Ongoing stage performances, numerous demos and interactive displays, Boats &
RVs, a Frisbee Dog Competition on Saturday, Wakeboarding Demos all
weekend, and a little bit of something
for everyone! There will also be a Carter Blood Drive Bus
on Sunday for
donating blood. Grab the family and come out and enjoy the
weekend!
2007 Event is FREE to
attend, but there is a fee to play in the Golf Tournament Friday the
4th and
the Fishing Tournament on Saturday the 5th, both benefiting Joni & Friends.
